Topps, a well-known name in the trading card industry, has teamed up with the NCAA to introduce the inaugural March Madness Basketball Card Series. This exclusive collection includes packs of eight cards, priced at $139.99 each, with a guaranteed autograph card from a selection of standout players. Among the featured players are Zach Edey from Purdue, the men’s Player of the Year, and Caitlin Clark, the women’s Player of the Year.

Each pack consists of the coveted autographed card, along with six base cards and one parallel card numbered to 99 or fewer. Fans and collectors can get their hands on these special packs until Thursday, available for purchase exclusively on Topps’ official website. There’s also an exciting chance of finding dual autograph cards, with one appearing in every ten packs.

The star-studded lineup for the Bowman U NOW March Madness series features a total of 20 college athletes from both the men’s and women’s sides. Notable names on the men’s roster include Reed Sheppard and Rob Dillingham from Kentucky, Tristen Newton and Stephon Castle from UConn, as well as Cody Williams from Colorado. On the women’s side, talents like Cameron Brink from Stanford, Aaliyah Edwards from UConn, and Paige Bueckers from UConn stand out.

One of the highlights of the collection is the opportunity to collect dual autograph cards, featuring pairings like Caitlin Clark/Zach Edey, Clark/Angel Reese, Reese/Hailey Van Lith, and Sheppard/Dillingham. This adds an extra layer of excitement for collectors looking to acquire unique and rare cards from the series.

Interestingly, Caitlin Clark’s inclusion in the Topps card series will come to an end on April 1, as she moves on to an exclusive trading card partnership with Panini America. This collaboration between Topps and the NCAA not only showcases the talents of college basketball stars but also incorporates the iconic March Madness logo and branding into the collection, promising more joint projects in the future.

Throughout the season, Topps has released over 120 Bowman U cards via the Topps NOW platform, with 61 cards specifically highlighting college basketball players. Caitlin Clark, in particular, has been a prominent feature on 13 different cards, the most among all college athletes. The addition of college players to the traditional Topps Bowman University line over the past two years has further enhanced the collector’s experience, offering a glimpse into the dynamic world of college sports through these vibrant and sought-after trading cards.
